The Claremont Colleges Ballroom Dance Company brings students together across the 5Cs through movement, practice, performance, and a shared love of ballroom.
From first-time dancers taking their earliest steps to experienced competitors representing Claremont on the collegiate circuit, CCBDC is a community built around learning, growing, and dancing together. With instruction spanning American and International styles and a vibrant social dance scene, the company gives students a place to discover ballroom, develop their skills, and share that experience with others.
That same spirit is behind the Claremont Showdown. Hosted each year by CCBDC, the Showdown brings dancers from Claremont and beyond together for a weekend of competition, camaraderie, and a whole lot of dancing.
Join us November 21–22, 2026 for a weekend of classes, connection, and dancesport competition in Claremont.
